Since 2018, I’ve had the privilege of working as a graphic designer for the Erickson School of Aging Studies, where I am responsible for fulfilling the department’s diverse creative needs, including flyers, T-shirt designs, banner designs, and event call-to-action materials.
When I joined Erickson, one of my primary objectives was to establish a consistent branding strategy that not only reflected the goals of the Aging Studies department but also set it apart from other departments within the University of Maryland. This ongoing project has involved close collaboration with Erickson’s team and UMBC’s creative services to ensure that the department’s new visual identity aligns with the broader design standards and expectations of the university. Through this experience, I’ve been able to contribute to a distinctive and cohesive branding presence that communicates the department's mission and values.
